Position: Quality Engineer
Package: £30-35k basic, Pension, Holidays
Hours: 37.5hrs per week (Mon-Fri) 8.45am – 5pm
Environment: State of the art fully automated high-volume manufacturing site inc clean room
Locations: WA3

Part of a global business my client has been established for over 30 years and have an illustrious history of manufacturing personal protective equipment for professionals across industry and healthcare.
Summary:
- To assist the Quality Manager to drive Continuous Improvement initiatives across the site and to provide a Quality Assurance service to all areas.
Key duties:
·QA (Quality Assurance), CI (Continuous Improvement) & SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance)
·QA Support – Training coordinators, auditors, Liaise with suppliers & customers
·Quality Systems – Act as Administrator and trainer
·Third Party Accreditation – Along with the Quality Manager Maintain our ISO 9001/2015 accreditation
·Auditing – Internal & external
·Management Review and Quality Review Meetings
·Calibration System – Critical instruments & update QMS
·Data analysis – KPI’s, Capture, MI, PM tools
·Health & safety – Improvements, report, awareness
·Travel – May be required to travel to Scotland from time to time to sister site to support / for training purposes
Desired Skills and Experience
·Ideally and engineering or technical qualification would be advantageous
·Proven experience of working in a high-volume manufacturing or production environment ideally in a clean room or highly regulated environment
·CI or process improvement experience would also be advantageous (5S or 6S)
·Must be familiar with ISO 9001:2015
