A specialist provider of workforce solutions to the logistics sector – iSupply Industrial – is one of only three nominees to be shortlisted in Warrington Business Awards’ hotly-contested ‘New Business of the Year’ category.
The winner will be announced at a glittering ceremony held at the Awards Marquee, Lymm Rugby Club, on Friday, 8 June.
“The countdown is officially on!” said Andrew Hibbert, Co-Founder and Director of iSupply Industrial.
“We are absolutely delighted to receive this recognition from the town’s most esteemed business leaders – and particularly at such an early stage in our company history.
‘With the Warrington economy booming, and new start-ups getting off the ground all the time, we have no doubt that the standard of entries was incredibly high.
‘On behalf of the whole team, we would like to thank the award sponsors – Redwood Bank and Warrington & Co. – as well as the judges for their time and consideration of our application. We’d also love to wish all the finalists the very best of luck for what is sure to be a fantastic evening of celebration for the Warrington business community.”
iSupply Industrial’s team of eight dedicated full-time staff have found rewarding opportunities with some of the UK’s biggest companies and brands for more than 350 temporary workers per week.
With 97 percent of customers rating the service as ‘Excellent’, the awards finalist earned a £1.4m turnover in 2017-2018, which is predicted to increase to £3.5m in 2018-2019.
Serving the Northern Powerhouse from its Warrington and Liverpool premises, iSupply Industrial also has offices in the strategic locations of Rugby and Kettering.
“We are especially proud to be giving back to the Warrington community by sponsoring Bruche Athletic Junior Football Club’s team and events,” added Andrew.
“We have also formed a local partnership with pro-sports education – supporting young adults and helping them to find pathways into work through traineeships and work placements.”
Danny Hudson, who is a Warrington Business Awards 2018 Organising Committee Member and a Partner at Watsons Solicitors, said: “Each year, we are amazed at the quality of the nominations across all of the Warrington Business Awards categories – and 2018 has been no different.
‘Ensuring our town has the opportunity to showcase the remarkable entrepreneurs, executives, apprentices and organisations of our local community is why all of us on the Organising Committee are so passionate about volunteering our time.
‘Massive congratulations to all of the finalists and an enormous thank-you to everyone who entered; unfortunately, there were numerous wonderful entries which didn’t make the shortlist due to the extraordinary quality of nominations.
‘I also add an additional thank-you to our panel of independent judges, who had the unenviable task of selecting the finalists and winners, as well as giving up their time so generously.”
